After visiting Rye back beach we finally made it closer to Sorrento..... Diamond Bay.  We were able to get down to the beach today.... the tide was starting to turn but there was plenty of sand.  The ocean beaches and huge seaweed etc are so different to the bay.... well of course..... but to go and see them and remember.... stunning!!

Saturday morning late September

Dont you hate those facebook ads, those emails, promising all the business get-up-and-go advice for a fair amount of your hard earned dollars of course.

I wonder how many service / virtual industries there are out there taking SO much of our real life income?

Well for once an ad helped me.  Ive been thinking about hiring and training someone to sew with me for a few weeks now.  Ive put together my first take of what an ad might look like.

What is minimum wage in Australia anyhow?

Our garden even though its been a cold winter.

Oh crap .... ouch!  Dont try to quickly eat toasties while throwing together a blog post!

Anyway... a lovely lady, Glynis, on our FB page Bowerbirds shared Lucy's Bowerbirds.  Do you know Lucy at Attic 24?  So great with colours and her photos are a real feature of her blog in my opinion.  The free pattern is available as a PDF download at Lucy at Attic 24.  Im terrible at colours so I looked up a Bowerbird and tried to keep him bluey black.  His eyes are buttons I bought from an op shop.

Lucy recently made a crochet dream catcher or mandala.  She shared the pattern creator and so am I right here.
